Pho Chantha
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Pho’s journey into the field of exercise physiology began with a passion for soccer. As an aspiring professional player, his dreams were sidelined by a serious ankle injury. This experience shifted his focus toward rehabilitation and strength training, igniting a desire to help others navigate injuries and regain function—just as he had to do himself.
Pho has developed strong expertise in falls prevention and aged care, with a particular interest in community health initiatives. During his final year of clinical placement, he played a key role in a government-funded falls prevention and intervention program. As one of the inaugural Exercise Physiologists in the program, he helped pioneer the development of outdoor exercise installations—playground-style equipment designed to promote movement and safety—in public parks across Australia.
Known for his calm, respectful, and compassionate approach, Pho has a natural ability to connect with patients who may be hesitant or anxious about beginning exercise. He excels in educating clients on the importance of physical activity and lifestyle modifications, always tailoring his approach to suit individual needs and capabilities. Pho is also fluent in Burmese, making him a valuable resource for culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Pho continues to stay active by playing competitive soccer and futsal. He also enjoys strength training, spending time outdoors, and maintaining a balanced, healthy lifestyle. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and supporting others on their journey to better health.
Pho looks forward to working with you to help you achieve your health, movement, and lifestyle goals.
